Ora che l'autunno è arrivato davvero, con le sue zucche e i colori tipici di stagione, mi sento più a mio agio nel mostrarvi questa card realizzata con i prodotti di Tommy Art.

Autumn is here, finally! With its vibrant colors, pumpkins, and cobs. I waited to share this card I made with Tommy Art products, but now it's the perfect time. 

Per la sua forma, questa card diventa una decorazione tridimensionale in cui la foglia a sinistra si stacca dallo sfondo e dona leggerezza alla composizione.

Thanks to the Round Card die, you can use this card as a 3D decoration making the leave on the left corner to add lightness to the composition.

Today my post sounds of Fall-Halloween vibes: it's a bookmark/tag made with products by Tommy Art, even a perfect masculine gift, if needed.

Per le verruche sul cappello del fungo ho utilizzato i cappelli dei fughi più piccoli e i particolari della fustella Gnomes.

I used the hats of the little mushrooms and the smallest elements of the Gnomes die to make the white warts.

Al chiaro di luna / Under the moonlight

Anche oggi post dedicato ad Halloween. A dirla tutta avrei voluto giocare con molti dei prodotti che ho acquistato in questa stagione, ma mi è mancato il tempo! Spero di rifarmi per Natale.

Another Halloween post, I know. I would like to play more with all the seasonal products I bought, sed tempus fugit, my friends. I hope Christmas time will be better.

La card di oggi è la scusa perfetta per partecipare alla sfida del lunedì sul blog di Simon Says Stamp e per me i progetti di Halloween sono sempre fonte di divertimento.

The Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is the perfect excuse for this card and I always have so much fun making Halloween projects!

Lo sfondo era già pronto in un cassetto, realizzato con la tecnica delle bolle che avete visto in questo post.

Invece l'effetto della luna che si illumina al buio è fatto con una pasta dal titolo "Grit Paste Glow", perfetta per lo scopo!

The glowing in the dark effect on the moon is made by the "Grit Paste Glow" and it's soooooo cool!

Girotondo di pipistrelli / Bats Ring around the Rosie

Oggi vi propongo un progetto a tema Halloween con la nuovissima release de Il negozio della mamma di Cle. Ammetto di essermi lasciata ispirare dalla bravissima Yana Smakula.

Today I share with you another Halloween project using the brand new release by Il negozio della mamma di Cle. The cards made by the talented Yana Smakula are the sparks that ignited this creation.

Non avendo a disposizione una ghirlanda o dei rametti, ho spremuto i neuroni creativi e ho utilizzato la lingua del serpente Lucifer fustellandola tante volte per ottenere questo girotondo su cui far svolazzare i pipistrellini!

Because I have nor a wreath nor a little branch, I squeezed my creative neurons and I cut the tongue of Lucifer the snake repeatedly and I got this creepy dance in a circle to which I added on the little bats!

Da ultimo mi sono divertita ad aggiungere qualche elemento a penna, come le crepe sulla lapide e i punti luce negli occhi delle zucchette. Tocco finale qualche abbellimento per creare maggiore continuità tra i cartoncini dello sfondo e la scena principale.

At last, I included some realistic details, like the cracks on the headstone and the light into the pumpkin eyes.

As a final touch, I glued a few black sequins and enamel dots on the orange background to match the dark colors of the main scene.

Pop up party boy

Il 15° compleanno di mio nipote devo ammettere che mi ha messo un po' in difficoltà. Non tanto per l'aspetto interattivo della card (che amo sempre realizzare), ma per il fatto che si tratta di un adolescente maschio, il che significa l'eliminazione di personaggi troppo infantili e fronzoli vari.

Alla fine è nata questa card, in cui ho utilizzato un set di fustelle di Halloween combinato ad altri elementi da diversi set. Forse per i miei gusti il risultato è un po' spartano, ma il meccanismo di comparsa del personaggio mi piace e il festeggiato ha messo il biglietto su una mensola in bella mostra, e questo è quello che conta.

I have to admit that the 15th birthday of my nephew gave me a hard time. Not because of the interaction of the card (I love making them), but because of his age and his gender, that means I couldn't turn to childish stamps or fancy fripperies.

After few trials, I chose to use an Halloween die set combined with other products. I must admit that, according to my usual choices, the result looks a little too spartan, but I like the pop-up boy, and my nephew placed the card on a shelf: and that's the thing that really matters.

È proprio vero che le foglie sono i fiori dell'autunno! I loro colori sono magnifici e scaldano il cuore.

It's so true: leaves are Autumn flowers! Their colors are so bright and heart warming.

In questa card ho cercato di riprodurli utilizzando i colori Ink Extreme di Tommy Art e l'effetto variopinto mi piace molto.

In this card I tried to reproduce them with Ink Extreme colors by Tommy Art and I really like the colorful effect.

Halloween Tags

Halloween è davvero dietro l'angolo e non possiamo trovarci impreparati al "Dolcetto o scherzetto" dei bambini del quartiere. Per accompagnare i vari dolciumi ho pensato a delle tag velocissime da realizzare, colorate e divertenti, perfette per utilizzare i piccoli ritagli che abbiamo in casa.

Halloween is just around the corner, we can not be unprepared for "Trick or treat"! I made these tags to match the goodies for the kids: they are very easy to make, perfect to use the little paper scraps we have in our stash.

Per la base della tag ho usato la fustella della scatolina a forma di bara, usando solo il coperchio e la sua mattatura. Quindi mi sono divertita a decorarla con cerchietti scallop, ephemera, paillette e piccoli enamel. Tocco finale la scritta "Boo!!" stampata ed embossata in nero. Grazie all'aggiunta del twine, una volta spazzolati i dolcetti, saranno dei buffi segnalibri.

I used the coffin die for the base, cutting just the lid. Then I had fun adding scallop circles, ephemera, sequins, and little enamel dots. As a last touch, I added a little tag with the sentiment "Boo!!" stamped and embossed in black. Thanks to the twine, when the candies are all gone in the tummies, these tags will be the perfect bookmarks!

Mi piace tanto realizzare delle card ambientate, ricche di particolari che il destinatario può scoprire ogni volta che la osserva.

I love make card sets, full of details the recipient can discover each time she/he looks at the card.

Una volta appiattita, la pop-up card può essere imbustata e spedita, per ricreare l'effetto sorpresa una volta aperta la busta.

Aspettando l'autunno / Waiting for the Fall

Difficile pensare che sia autunno quando fuori ci sono 33 gradi... diciamo che ci portiamo avanti con queste tag dall'aria di montagna! Per realizzarle ho utilizzato il nuovo set di Tommy Art disegnato dalla bravissima illustratrice Antonella Orsi.

It is quite hard to acknowledge that Fall has started when the thermometer says thirty degrees! Maybe a mountain theme will help. For this project I used the new brand set designed by Antonella Orsi for Tommy Art. 

La loro realizzazione è davvero semplice, anche se richiede un po' di lavoro nel tagliare i singoli strati con la tecnica del paper piecing. Per prima cosa ho stampato i funghi sulla carta da acquerello, quindi ho stampato gli stessi timbri in più passaggi su alcuni ritagli di cartoncino, in modo da poterli sovrapporre sempre più nel dettaglio, usando il biadesivo spessorato per creare un effetto tridimensionale.

Although these tags are really simple, they require some work to cut out all the pieces by using the paper piecing technique. Adding the foam adhesive on the back of each piece is the best way to have the 3D effect.

Le tag così realizzate possono essere dei piccoli quadretti oppure dei chiudi pacco o le etichette per dei vasetti di funghi sott'olio!

You can use these tags as little wall pictures or as parcel tags, or labels for mushrooms in oil jars!

Finally the super Christmas release by Tommy Art is here! And I have a lot of projects to share about it!

The first one is this triplet of romantic tags with vintage elements combined with pastel colors.

Dal momento in cui ho visto il set di fustelle delle decorazioni di Natale vicino a quello della magnolia, ho subito immaginato di usare la foglia filigranata come elemento sovrapposto.

As soon as I saw the Christmas ornaments die set near the Magnolia one, the mixing result popped in my mind and I used the filigrana leave as a layer.

Queste tag sono davvero veloci da realizzare e vi basterà cambiare il colore del cartoncino e il sentiment da aggiungere per poterne avere un set diversificato.

These tags are really easy to make and you can have a bunch of them just changing the color of the card stock and the sentiment.

Boule de neige di Halloween / Halloween snowglobe

La struttura è una boule de neige che mi sono divertita ad ambientare con un paesaggio lugubre e una casa spiritata. Per la base invece ho immaginato una falena nera, con il corpo decorato da teschietti e le ali di filigrana...

The structure is made of a Snowglobe die, and I had so much fun making this creepy scene with a hunted house. For the base I imagined a black moth with a body decorated by little skulls and filigree wings...
