Quando un timbro mi piace ogni scusa è buona per poterlo usare, come le ATC da scambiare con le amiche stamper.
When I like a stamp set I take every chance to use it, as it happended with these ATCs for my stamper friends.
Mi piace acquerellare queste rose perché sono semplici nel tratto e i petali lasciano la giusta campitura da riempire di colore: né troppo grande da rischiare pasticci né troppo piccola da nascondere le sfumature di colore.
I like watercoloring the roses because the shapes are simple and the petals have the right amount of space to fill with color: not too big to make a mess, and not too small to hide the color blending.
Per l'acquerellatura ho utilizzato dei pennarelli: i Karin sfumati a pennello per la base, gli Zig per i dettagli delle nervature di petali e foglie.
I watercolored them by using markers: Karin for the base and Zig for the nerves.
Lo scontorno con le forbici di precisione non è difficile, dato il contorno morbido e regolare, ma sicuramente le fustelle coordinate velocizzano l'operazione.
Despite cutting out the elements with fine pointed scissors can be easy, the coordinate dies do speed this operation.
When you have all the elements it is so easy to compose a tag or a card!
Per lo sfondo dell'ATC ho utilizzato un bel timbro con un testo scritto, stampato su cartoncino acquerellabile ed embossato con la polvere bianca. Dopodiché ho utilizzato i Brusho, acquerelli in polvere, e uno spruzzino con l'acqua per creare le macchie di colore di fondo.
For the background, I stamped and embossed with white powder a big text stamp. Then I spread some powder watercolors (Brusho) and sprayed with water to blend them on the card stock.
Dopo l'asciugatura dello sfondo, ho fustellato la cornice e ho sovrapposto gli elementi con del biadesivo spessorato. Tocco finale qualche pailette per conferire un po' di luminosità al tutto.
After the background dried, I die cut the frame and layered all the elements with foam adhesive.
Eventually, I glued some sequins to give a little shine to this ATC.
