Rocker card con alveare / Rocker card hive

Oggi celebro l'arrivo dell'estate con uno dei miei temi preferiti: le api! Questa de Il Negozio della mamma di Cle, poi, è davvero dolce, e l'ho messa a svolazzare su una rocker card.

Today let's celebrate Summer with one of my favorite theme: bees! This chubby one by Il Negozio della mamma di Cle is so cute than seeing her flying over a rocker card is a joy.

Ho usato una striscia di acetato per rendere il volo sospeso e non ho resistito ad usare il manico del cucchiaino da miele per creare un paio di simpatiche antenne!

I used a transparent acetate strip for the flying effect, and I couldn't help using the handle of the honey spoon to make two funny antennas!

Avete seguito la diretta di ieri di Tommy Art? Visto che meraviglia la nuova release "Beautiful bouquet"?Inauguro la carrellata di progetti con quelli dedicati al set di fustelle che dà il nome alla collezione.

Have you seen yesterday Tommy's live about his new release? Have you seen the beauty of this new collection? For my starting project with these cards, I used the die set that gives the name to the collection: "Beautiful bouquet".

Per dare risalto alle fustelle ho deciso di preparare delle card in cui mi sono divertita a colorare il fondo bianco con gli Ink Extreme di Tommy. Una volta asciutto ho fustellato i fiori in bianco e ho creato le mie composizioni, aiutandomi anche con alcune fustelle delle precedenti release.

I watercolored the background of each card such that the white flowers could stand up in all their beauty and elegance.

Dall'ultima release di Tommy Art, oggi vi propongo una scatolina triangolare decorata con dei fiorellini bianchi delicati.

What I like to share with you comes from the last Tommy Art release: a triangular box decorated with delicate white flowers.

Per accompagnare la scatolina ho pensato ad una tag con gli stessi fiori, ma questa volta tutta in bianco, che sarebbe adatta anche per una comunione o un matrimonio, non trovate?

I made a total white tag to match the box: it would be perfect as a wedding or communion favor, don't you think?

Una banda di gabbiani / A flock of seagulls

Tra i ricordi più belli che ho della mia adolescenza ci sono quelli legati alle estati trascorse al mare, in cui facevo scorpacciate di romanzi, soprattutto di Stephen King e di Agatha Christie. E avevo tutto il tempo del mondo a disposizione per leggere.

In one of my dearest memories from my adolescence, I see myself lying on the beach with a Stephen King or an Agatha Christie novel in my hands. With all the time in the world dedicated to reading.

Proprio per questo ho pensato ad un pensierino di fine scuola per i miei due figli (e il resto della famiglia): dei segnalibri a tema marino! Per lo scopo ho utilizzato le fustelle del set "Gioie d'estate" dell'ultima release de La Coppia Creativa, che sono davvero deliziose.

And that's why I made a little present for my kids (and for the rest of the family, too) for the end of the school year: some marine bookmarks! For this project, I used the die set "Gioie d'estate" (Summer joy) from the last release by La Coppia Creativa. I really like this set!

Sono partita da un ritaglio di cartoncino acquerellato che mi era avanzato dal progetto della rocker card (che trovate in questo post) e me ne sono servita per decorare la parte inferiore di questi segnalibri.

It all started from a strip of watercolored paper saved from the rocker card project (you can see it in this post), that I used to decorate the bottom part of each bookmark.

Per personalizzarli ho utilizzato le fustelle delle lettere grandi, mentre per decorarli ho abbinato il gabbiano sullo scoglio (realizzato col tappo della bottiglia) e le conchiglie. Sono sicura che con questi allegri segnalibri le letture estive saranno ancora più piacevoli!

I personalized them with the big letters from the Alphabet die set, and I embellished them with the seagull and the shells. I'm sure that our summer reading will be more pleasant with these joyful bookmarks!

We can bring him to life on our cards, like for all the characters designed by Denise Shimabukuro.

Come ho fatto io in questa slimline card, dove ho abbinato il timbro alla fustella "Back to school" per creare dei singoli scatti per questo tenerissimo pelosetto!

In this slimline card I did it! I matched the stamps with the "Back to school" die to make some shoots with this tender pet... and he looks alive!

Scatolina floreale / Floral little box

Anche se la bella stagione tarda ad arrivare, almeno qui nel nord Italia, le cerimonie non possono aspettare. Questa scatolina è perfetta per delle bomboniere. Nel mio caso l'ho realizzata con una carta floreale dai toni vintage, da cui ho ricavato sia la struttura che la decorazione floreale e la tag, ritagliandole dal foglio di die cut.

Even if Spring is still to come in the North of Italy, ceremonies can not wait. This little box is perfect as a wedding favor. I used a vintage patterned paper for both the base and the cover decoration.

La bellezza di questo modello è la costruzione ad incastro, che non richiede colla. Così il tempo risparmiato lo potete utilizzare per gli abbellimenti.

The best part is that you can assemble it without glue, so you can use the spared time to make the embellishments.

Un compleanno vintage / A vintage birthday

Siamo giunti a quel momento dell'anno in cui mi tocca scervellarmi per un biglietto d'auguri per mio marito. Quest'anno, per non sbagliare, ho utilizzato uno degli ultimi set di timbri di Tim Holtz (che mi piace un sacco!).

Here we are: this it that time of the year when I have to rack myself to find an idea for a card for my husband's birthday. This year, I decided to use one of the last stamp set designed by Tim Holtz (one of my favorite!).

Non sono sicurissima che mio marito apprezzi l'abbinamento tra il vintage della card e la sua età, ma spero che il biglietto gli piacerà :D

I'm not quite sure my hubby will appreciate the match vintage card - his age, but I think he will like my card :D

Una fetta fragolosa / A strawberry pie slice

Restando in tema primaverile, come secondo progetto della nuova release di Tommy Art vi propongo una scatolina e una tag decorate con la fragolina 3D.

Folk, I activated my Spring mode. Hence, today, I share with you another project made with the brand new release by Tommy Art. I used the 3D strawberry like a decoration, again.

Per simulare la fetta di torta ho utilizzato la fustella triangolare che si monta senza l'utilizzo di colla. All'interno potete mettere dei confetti o un regalo prezioso.

This triangular box recalls a slice of cake, so I matched it with a white topper, like a cream one.

Inside the box you can put some candies or a precious gift.

Per completare il regalo ho realizzato anche una tag, che può essere utilizzata anche come segnalibro, con la fragolina che resta appesa esternamente al libro.

To complete the project, I made a tag: you can use it also like a bookmark, with the hanging strawberry as an embellishment.
