Rocker card "La vita è bella"

Questo progetto mi si è materializzato nella mente appena ho visto il set di fustelle coi gabbiani! E poi sapete già che mi piacciono tantissimo le rocker card.

This project popped up into my mind the moment I saw the die with the seagulls! And you already know I love rocker cards.

Per lo sfondo ho acquarellato un foglio di cartoncino con i colori del mare: turchese, acqua marina, verde, azzurro. Ho recuperato anche qualche avanzo per avere delle fustellate di colore diverso.

I watercolored a white paper with sea colors: turquoise, aquamarine, green, and blue. Then, I used some colored strips I had in my stash and I cut them with the border dies.

Per realizzare la barca ho utilizzato la fustella della macchinina e un cartoncino bianco: ho tagliato via le ruote, il fanale e il tettuccio, quindi ho capovolto la scocca e ho incollato quest'ultimo dal lato opposto (in pratica sul fondo dell'auto). Poi mi è bastato decorare la barca con una striscia rossa.

I used the little car die to obtain the boat: I cut out the upper part and turn down the bottom part, as you can see in the picture. I added a watercolored red strip to make the boat more real.

Una volta composto lo sfondo marino attaccando tutte le onde, l'ho tagliato usando una fustella circolare di 13,5 cm circa. Con la stessa fustella ho ricavato il cerchio di base da un cartoncino bianco e l'ho piegato a metà.

I glued lots of waves on the watercolored base, then I cut it using a 5,25'' circle die. I cut also a white card stock circle with the same die bending it in half to obtain the base of the rocker card. 

Prima di incollare il frontespizio colorato, ho inserito una striscia di acetato, in modo da poter attaccare il gabbiano e farlo "volare" sopra il mare.

Before attaching the colored semicircle, remember to glue an acetate strip in between, so you can make a seagull fly.

Per realizzare lo scoglio su cui poccia il secondo gabbiano ho utilizzato la fustella che taglia il tappo della bottiglia, inserendolo a testa in giù tra le onde. Mentre per il sentiment ho ritagliato le parole da un foglio del pad "Sunny Days", che un sacco di scritte stampate.

With the bottle cork die, I made a rock where the second seagull can stand with the shell and the sea star. I composed the sentiment with words I cut out from a paper sheet from the "Sunny Days" pad.

Questo set della nuova release de La Coppia Creativa mi piace un sacco, penso si intuisca quanto mi sono divertita ad utilizzarlo in questo progetto. Spero faccia divertire altrettanto anche voi!
