Che mi piaccia utilizzare le fustelle in modo alternativo a quello per cui sono state pensate già lo sapete. Oggi è la volta dell'Abete fiorito dell'ultima release de La Coppia Creativa, che ho scelto per creare una decorazione per l'albero.
Ho tagliato la base 6 volte nel cartoncino verde scuro, quindi ho fustellato altrettante decorazioni floreali e le ho acquerellate in rosso e verde, aggiungendo del colore oro sulle bacche e al centro dei fiori. Poi le ho incollate alle basi e ho piegato a metà per il lungo ciascuno dei 6 alberelli, per poi attaccarli tra loro in modo da ottenere la struttura tridimensionale, inserendo nel mezzo un cordoncino sottile dorato per poterlo appendere all'abete. Infine ho aggiunto delle paillette iridescenti per un tocco di luce in più.
Il procedimento ha richiesto un po' di tempo, ma il risultato abbellirà il mio albero di Natale negli anni a venire!
I like to use the cutting die in my own personal way, as you know. This is the time of La Coppia Creativa flowery fir tree, which I used to make a Christmas tree ornament.
I cut 6 times the base from a dark green paper. Then, I cut 6 times the related flowery decorations. I watercolored with green and red, adding some Distress Spritz Fossilized Amber to the berries. I glued them to the base, then I bent each base in half gluing each together to make a 3D ornament putting in the middle a golden thread. Last but not least, some iridescent sequins add a nice light touch.
This project required some time, but this ornament will embellish my Christmas tree for several years.
