Today I like to share with you an angular bookmark I made not with a stamp, but with a Chris Riddell's drawing.
If you have no idea whom I am talking about, I strongly invite you to look for his books. He is a very talented illustrator, very prolific and generous in sharing works on socials. His illustrated children books are numerous and really funny.
My favorite book series illustrated by Riddell, written by Paul Stewart, is "The Edge Chronicles", rich of wonderful characters and exciting stories.

When I saw this drawing Riddell shared on his FB page, I felt in love instantly: I had to print and color it with watercolored pens, trying to highlight the original dark and light zones.

Instructions about the angular bookmark are on this post.
After the coloring, I glued the drawing onto a white card stock and cut out it. I completed the bookmark with a white embossed stripe of black card stock.
And here is the toad peeping out from one book of the Edge Chronicles Saga.
And you? Have you any favorite illustrator?
