Anche se in famiglia non festeggiamo S.Valentino, non potevo farmi sfuggire l'occasione di preparare una tag romantica, che può essere tranquillamente declinata per un anniversario o un regalo di nozze con la foto dei futuri sposi.
Although S.Valentine's day never had a spot on our family planner, I couldn't miss the chance to make a romantic tag that can be used for an anniversary or a wedding gift with the pictures of the marring couple.
Il percorso creativo è partito dalla macchina da scrivere, fustella che mi è stata regalata da un'amica tempo fa e che non avevo ancora utilizzato. Il collegamento immediato è stato l'embossing pad con le lettere a rilievo (che adoro), che ho sporcato di inchiostro Versafine nero per ottenere la stampa delle lettere durante l'embossing (sono risultate al contrario, ma mi piacciono lo stesso) su un foglio di carta in cui avevo creato l'effetto wrinkled con il Vintage Photo.
My creative idea started from the typewriter die a friend gave to me some time ago, something I hadn't make a good use of yet. The logic link was the Typewriter embossing folder (I love it), where I inked the letters with Versafine Onyx Black pad to obtain the black printing during the 3D embossing (they came out mirrored, but I like them). The base was a paper with a wrinkled effect with Vintage Photo I found in my stash.
Volevo che il messaggio fosse d'amore, quindi non ho avuto dubbi ad aggiungere un cuore tridimensionale tagliato da un cartoncino che mi era avanzato da un progetto precedente (lo vedete qui) adagiato su un pezzetto di carta stampata (in cui casualmente la prima parola che si legge è "sposarono", che è capitata a fagiolo!).
The focus was a love message, so I had no doubt to use a dimensional heart I cut out from a red printed paper I used in a previous project (you can see it here). I glued it on a printed paper where the first word is the Italian "sposarono" (they married): what a chance?!?
A quel punto è stata la volta della fustella tag, in cui ho sporcato il bordo con il tampone Versafine Satin Red per ottenere l'effetto vintage nel passaggio dentro la Big Shot. Le macchie sullo sfondo e sugli elementi neri sono di Oxide Salvaged Patina, la stessa con cui ho colorato la diapositiva con dentro la nostra foto (in questo caso ho aggiunto delle macchie di Ground Espresso, con cui ho sfumato anche i bordi della tag). Per completare il progetto ho aggiunto la scritta "love" in nero macchiata di Salvaged Patina e con il cuoricino tagliato nello stesso cartoncino rosso del cuore 3D.
I used the biggest of the Framed Tags dies to cut the base, and I stained the edge in red (with Versafine Satin red pad) so to obtain the vintage effect during the cutting step into the Big Shot; then I blended some Ground Espresso ink on the edges. I splattered some Salvaged Patina drops onto the tag base and the typewriter. I used the same ink pad to color the slide. To complete the project, I added the "love" black letters splattered with Salvaged Patina; I cut the heart from the same red printed paper of the 3D heart.
Il tab con la scritta "Filed" mi è servito per bilanciare la composizione, così come il nastro colorato con gli stessi inchiostri usati per le macchie. La combinazione di colori che ho utilizzato in questa tag è una delle mie preferite in assoluto!
I balanced the composition by adding the brown tab with "Filed" sentiment on the left, as well as the distressed ribbon inked with Salvaged Patina and Ground Espresso. The color combo I used in this tag is my favorite ever!
