Nella cittadina di vacanza in cui la mia famiglia ed io ci rechiamo da anni c'è una casa che nel giardino ha un cespuglio di rosa canina e d'estate mi fermo sempre ad annusare il profumo inebriante dei fiori, a costo di sembrare ridicola ai passanti. A dispetto dei fiori delicati, il profumo è intenso e persistente.
Per questo motivo ho scelto questo fiore per l'ultimo tema della sfida Coloring Club Challenge.
In our family vacation site, there is a house with a dog rose bush in the garden. In the summer, I stop every time to smell the heady scent of the flowers, even when the passers-by think I'm crazy. Despite the delicate flowers, the scent is intense and persistent.
That's why I chose this flower for the last theme of the Coloring Club Challenge.
Per la colorazione no line ho scelto i pennarelli acquarellabili e pochissimo colore acrilico per minuscole antere al centro delle rose. Ho movimentato un po' lo sfondo sfumando uno stencil floreale, ma ho scelto di mantenere un aspetto semplice, come recita il sentiment che ho abbinato.
I chose the no line watercoloring and a little bit of acrylic yellow for the small anthers at the center of the roses. I added more interest to the background by blending a flourish stencil, but I kept a simple look, as the stamped sentiment says.
