Un micio spaventoso / Spooky cat

Questo micio che pensa di far paura indossando un mantello da vampiro è davvero delizioso, altro che spaventoso!

Per la colorazione ho scelto i marker ad alcool, e come mattatura per la tag ho scelto di tagliarla una seconda volta nella carta Halloween Script. Trovate tutti i link ai prodotti a fondo pagina, come sempre.

The bat-cat doesn't scare anyone, is he?

I chose to color him with alcool markers and I cut a second tag in a patterned script paper to add more interest. You can find the supplies list at the end of this page, as always.

Una card che profuma d'estate / Summer scient card

Quale soggetto migliore dei limoni per una card di compleanno in estate? Nel loro colore e nel profumo intenso trattengono i raggi caldi del sole. Qui li ho adagiati su una tovaglietta bordata di pizzo, per ricordare un picnic in una giornata estiva.

Nothing's better than lemons for a Summer birthday card! They represent the sun rays with their bright colors and scent. Here I put them on a towel, with scallop borders, to remember a picnic in a sunny day.

Come secondo progetto per la nuova release di Impronte d'Autore ho scelto di usare due set di timbri diversi per creare una scenetta ironica in cui il fantasma sorride della zucca illuminata dalle lucciole al suo interno. Mi è parso un duo perfetto per una card di Halloween!

Behold my second project with the brand new Impronte d'Autore release: a mixture of two different stamp sets that creates a funny scene with the ghost smiling at the fireflies inside the pumpkin. I guess it is a perfect choice for an Halloween card!

Non so voi, ma io mai come quest'anno sto desiderando l'autunno! Queste bellissime zucche della nuova release di Impronte d'Autore mi hanno aiutato ad entrare nello spirito giusto e ho creato un home decor per Halloween. Per quella nel mezzo come vezzo ho scelto una caramella a mo' di fiocchetto. Non sono adorabili?

I haven't the slightest about your weather, unfortunately here in Italy I have never dreamt of an anticipated Autumn like this year. These Impronte d'Autore beautiful pumpkins put me in the fall mood: I use them to make an Halloween home decor. I chose a candy as a bow to embellish the one in the middle. So cute!

L'estate è agli sgoccioli, anche se dalle temperature non si direbbe. Come ringraziamento e saluto alle ragazze che lavorano al Giardino Botanico Rezia di Bormio ho pensato di preparare dei segnalibri a tema botanico. E poi, si sa, i segnalibri non sono mai abbastanza!

Despite the hot temperatures, Summer is ending, it's time to say goodbye to the mountains and go back home. I wanted to do that by making some special bookmarks to thank the local botanical garden Giardino Botanico Rezia girls. As you know, bookmarks are never enough!

Un tè estivo / Summer tea

Lo so che le temperature non invitano a sorbire un tè pomeridiano, ma mi piaceva l'idea di utilizzare un timbro così elegante nel mio primo progetto con i nuovi tamponi di Tommy Art.

Per lo sfondo ho utilizzato il nuovo tampone Argilla sia per la stampa del timbro che per la sfumatura, per avere maggiore contrasto con il soggetto principale, stampato in nero e scontornato con le forbici di precisione. Per la colorazione ho scelto la tecnica ad acquerello con gli Ink Extreme.

I know, Summer temperatures don't invite to drink hot tea, but I liked the idea to use an elegant stamp in my first project with the new ink pads by Tommy Art. I used the Clay pad to stamp and blend the background, while I stamped the tea set with the Black pad. Then I watercolored them with the Ink Extreme.

Con queste temperature sembra davvero di essere nella savana! Gertrude, senza batter ciglio, si diverte a festeggiare il compleanno della mia cara amica Laura.

Xmas in July 2026

Viste le temperature medie di questo periodo, scommetto di non essere la sola a desiderare il fresco invernale. Questa è la prima card natalizia dell'anno, grazie alla nuova release per il Xmas in July di Impronte d'Autore. La piccola Rudolph è tenerissima!

The massive heatwave that is upon us makes me day-dreaming about winter's days; and I guess I'm not the only one. This is the first Christmas card of the year thanks to the new Impronte d'Autore Xmas in July new release. Little Rudolph is so MINE!

Una spremuta di creatività / Fresh-squeezed creativity

Cercherò di non lamentarmi troppo del caldo, prometto!

Per rinfrescarmi un po', almeno virtualmente, ho ripreso in mano il set di timbri "Frutti deliziosi" de La Coppia Creativa e l'ho abbinato al nuovo set di fustelle "ATC" per avere delle piccole spremute di sole.

Ho colorato i limoni con delle picchiettature gialle e arancioni coi pennarelli OLO, e come tocco finale ho aggiunto un banner dal set "Mini Album Ticket" e delle paillette iridescenti per i punti luce.

I'll try to avoid to complain about the heat, I promise!

To freshen up myself, virtually at least, I took the stamp set La Coppia Creativa "Delicious Fruits" and matched it with the new "ATC" die set to obtain little sun juices.

I colored the lemons tapping the OLO markers, and I complete the ATCs with a banner from "Mini Album Ticket" die set and some sequins to add light.

Fusa di compleanno / Purred Birthday

La mia nipotina da poco ha un gatto rosso da cui non si separa mai, quindi è stato facilissimo scegliere il soggetto della tag chiudi pacco per il suo regalo di compleanno. Questo micione prende tutta la scena, è bastato aggiungere uno sfondo con lo stencil coordinato al set e alcuni fiorellini a contrasto. Il papillon è stato tagliato e colorato a parte per dare un po' di tridimensionalità al tutto.

Since my nephew has recently got a cat she cannot separate from, I had no doubt about the character to stamp on her birthday present tag. This big cat takes all the scene! I just added a stenciled background and some flowers in contrast color. I cut and colored the bow tie apart to add more dimension to the scene.

Adventure Time

Fare dei regali di compleanno a mio marito è semplicissimo: bastano dei libri! In questo siamo molto simili. E ad accompagnarli spesso scelgo una tag che poi diventa un segnalibro. Quella che ho realizzato quest'anno mi piace particolarmente, perché l'intaglio del mappamondo lascia intravedere la pagina sottostante e l'effetto ruggine dello sfondo picchiettato di azzurro e verde mi affascina ogni volta.

It's so easy to make birthday presents to my hubby: a bunch of books makes him happy! We are so similar.

I often chose to make a tag as a birthday card, so that he can use it as a bookmark. I like very much this year version, because the perforated globe lets see the page underneath. And also the rust effect fascinates me every time.
