Segnalibro invernale / Winter bookmark

Una sfida il cui tema sono libri e segnalibri per me è come il canto delle sirene. È il caso del Monday Challenge di Simon Says Stamp di questa settimana. Per l'occasione ho messo insieme timbri e fustelle di aziende diverse in questo mixed media dall'effetto vintage che accompagnerà le mie letture più classiche.

A challenge that involves books and bookmarks has the effect of a mermaid call to me. This is the theme of the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge of this week. For the occasion, I put together stamps and dies by different brands in this mixed media vintage bookmark that will match my classic books.

Trovo sempre stimolante l'idea di mescolare prodotti diversi, nuovi e vecchi.

I think seeing the mixing result of new and old supplies emerging from the card is really fascinating.

Può sembrare assurdo di questi tempi il tema delle ATC che ho preparato per il meeting virtuale settimanale con le amiche stampers, ma il fatto è che lo so di essere una privilegiata, io che in questi giorni di quarantena posso restare a casa con la mia famiglia, posso spendere il mio tempo libero come meglio credo, anche esercitarmi con l'acquarello.

Maybe you think I'm crazy to use this sentiment on my last ATC in these quarantine, but I know I'm lucky to spend my days with my family doing whatever I like, also watercoloring.

E, dato che nei nostri incontri non stiamo mai con le mani in mano, io e le amiche di stamping ci siamo divertite a sperimentare lo sfondo fatto con gli Oxide sulla carta glossy.
Se non ci salutiamo con le dita piene di colore, non siamo contente! ^_^

Ok, il messaggio è chiaro: VOGLIO LA PRIMAVERA!!

Sappiate che nei prossimi mesi di fiori ne avrete la nausea! Però è più forte di me, non posso farne a meno. Lo so che poi mi lamenterò del caldo e delle zanzare, ma non vedo l'ora che spuntino i primi boccioli, che fioriscano le prime gemme, che si allunghino le giornate... Sono e resterò sempre meteoropatica. Fatevene una ragione.

Ok, the message is clear: I WANT SPRING!!
I'm warning you: in the next months I'll nauseate you with tons of flowers!! I can't help it. I know, I'll complain about hot and mosquitos, but I look forward to seeing the first buds, and the lighter days... I am meteoropathic, get over it.

When I think of flowers, I think of roses. They are so beautiful and their fragrance is so sweet, that I cannot help loving them.

ATC di febbraio / February ATC

Io e le amiche di stamping eravamo rimaste indietro con gli incontri mensili, ma abbiamo recuperato alla grande con questa serie di ATC che racchiudono in una botta sola Halloween, Natale e S.Valentino! La mia è quella floreale variopinta (si capisce che vorrei fosse già primavera? :).

I had not met my stamping friends for a long time, and when we did we caught up the time lost with this ATC serie that embraces Halloween, Christmas and S.Valentine. The one with the colored flowers is mine (I wish it was Spring already!)

Sfondo marmorizzato con i Chameleon / Marbled background with Chameleon pens

Oggi post tecnico in cui mi sono divertita ad usare i pennarelli Chameleon pasticciando un po' per creare questo sfondo marmorizzato.

I love messing up with colors, even better when the results are unexpected! The marbling technique is perfect for unpredictable beautiful effects.

No line coloring with Chameleon

Ultimamente mi sta prendendo un sacco la tecnica del "no line coloring", cioè la coloritura della stampa senza bordi netti. L'effetto finale è più naturale, più realistico, e la sfida maggiore è quella di dare tridimensionalità alla stampa col solo uso del colore. E coi Chameleon è decisamente più semplice.

I love the no line coloring technique, it' so relaxing. And I think is the best way to render the delicate and soft petal effects.
