Un piccolo giardino fiorito con OLO / A mini garden with OLO

Oggi sono entusiasta di mostrarvi una card che ho realizzato in collaborazione con Tommy Art e OLO marker utilizzando uno dei nuovissimi set di pennarelli. Per me è stata una vera sfida usare solo gli 8 colori contenuti nella confezione Manga 2 Set, ma alla fine ho scoperto che le combinazioni possono essere davvero infinite e il risultato finale mi piace un sacco!

I'm really excited about the new card I made in partnership with Tommy Art and OLO marker: I used one of the new color sets. It was a challenge to use just the 8 colors in the Manga 2 Set, but I realized that the combinations are endless, and I really like the final result!

Per questo progetto ho scelto di usare delle fustellate, in modo da poter sovrapporre i colori sulla carta per creare le sfumature senza paura di sbavature.

I chose to color some die cuts: they are perfect to blend many colors on paper without smears.

Have you seen the brand new eastern stamp release by Impronte d'Autore yet? I really like this tea girl and I chose a theme project: a tea bags holder.

All'interno possono essere inserite due bustine, oppure una bustina e un dolcetto piatto.

Il modello cui mi sono ispirata è di Conny Pfister e sul suo blog trovate le misure per replicarlo.

Milk box per la festa della mamma / Mother's day milk box

La festa della mamma è proprio dietro l'angolo! Questa milk box in rosa mi sembra perfetta per confezionare un pensierino, non trovate?

Mother's Day is just around the corner! This pink milk box is perfect to wrap up a little gift, don't you think?

Ho modificato l'altezza in modo da ottenere una scatolina più bassa rispetto alle dimensioni originali. Per farlo ho tagliato la carta rosa più corta della fustella e ho tagliato separatamente prima il margine superiore e poi quello inferiore.

I shortened the original high by using a piece of paper shorter than the die and by cutting separately the upper and the under borders.

Un orsetto di compleanno / A birthday little bear

Mi sono resa conto solo adesso di non aver condiviso il biglietto di compleanno che ho preparato per mia figlia. Nonostante sia adolescente, apprezza ancora i soggetti "coccolosi", come questo tenero orsetto.

I realize just now that I didn't share the card I made for my daughter's birthday. Despite she is a late teenager, she likes childish subjects, like this sweet little bear.

All'interno ho collocato un meccanismo per rendere la card interattiva. In rete ci sono diversi tutorial per replicarla (trovate il modello sotto il nome  "swivel card" oppure "triple rotating card") .

Coloring Club Challenge - Flower Power

Nella cittadina di vacanza in cui la mia famiglia ed io ci rechiamo da anni c'è una casa che nel giardino ha un cespuglio di rosa canina e d'estate mi fermo sempre ad annusare il profumo inebriante dei fiori, a costo di sembrare ridicola ai passanti. A dispetto dei fiori delicati, il profumo è intenso e persistente.

Per questo motivo ho scelto questo fiore per l'ultimo tema della sfida Coloring Club Challenge.

In our family vacation site, there is a house with a dog rose bush in the garden. In the summer, I stop every time to smell the heady scent of the flowers, even when the passers-by think I'm crazy. Despite the delicate flowers, the scent is intense and persistent.

That's why I chose this flower for the last theme of the Coloring Club Challenge.

Per la colorazione no line ho scelto i pennarelli acquarellabili e pochissimo colore acrilico per minuscole antere al centro delle rose. Ho movimentato un po' lo sfondo sfumando uno stencil floreale, ma ho scelto di mantenere un aspetto semplice, come recita il sentiment che ho abbinato.

I chose the no line watercoloring and a little bit of acrylic yellow for the small anthers at the center of the roses. I added more interest to the background by blending a flourish stencil, but I kept a simple look, as the stamped sentiment says.

Coloring Club Challenge - Things With Wings

Per il penultimo tema della Coloring Club Challenge ho scelto un bellissimo timbro di sfondo con arei vintage, da cui ho ritagliato un elemento perché diventasse protagonista della card.

I'm sorry the Coloring Club Challenge is about to end! For the "things with wings" theme, I chose a beautiful background stamp with vintage planes. I cut out one of them to put it on the top of the card.

Le fustelle di Tim Holtz mi hanno aiutata a completare il resto, conferendo alla card un gusto d'altri tempi.

Coloring Club Challenge - Die Cuts

È davvero divertente cambiare genere e stile da un tema all'altro della Coloring Club Challenge!

La card di oggi è stata impegnativa nella colorazione di ogni singolo pezzo, ma il risultato mi piace molto.

It's really fun to change type and style in the Coloring Club Challenge cards!

This one required more time, but I love the result I could get.

Mi piace come i vari elementi risaltano sullo sfondo craft embossato.

I like how the elements stand out against the craft embossed background.

I limoni sono bellissimi frutti da colorare!

Lemons are so beautiful fruits to color!

Il cibo in Italia è una questione seria, ed è molto difficile scegliere tra una singola pietanza. Così, ho optato per metterne diverse sulla card di oggi per partecipare al tema della Coloring Club Challenge.

In Italy, food is a serious topic, I guess everyone is aware of this. Because of that, it's really hard to choose a single plate from a menu; and that's why I put many items on this card for the "Yummy" theme of the Coloring Club Challenge of today.
