Best Nine 2023

Ed eccoci arrivati al momento in cui si tirano le somme dell'anno appena passato. Qui sopra vedete raccolti i progetti che vi sono piaciuti di più (sulla base dei like su Instagram). Vi ringrazio per avermi dimostrato il vostro apprezzamento: come ben sapete, per me i social sono canali importanti per la condivisione e per darvi sempre nuova ispirazione. Abete segnaposto / Christmas tree table tag

Natale è passato, ma siamo ancora nel pieno delle feste. Se vi occorre un'idea veloce per i segnaposto della cena di Capodanno, quest'abete abbinato alla tag box fa al caso vostro. Nel mezzo della tag ho messo un candy cane come dono per i commensali.

Christmas is gone, I am aware of it. Said that, if you need a sweet idea for the dinner of the last day of the year, you can still use a Christmas tree die and a tag box to hold a candy cane for the guest at the table.

Biscotti di Natale 2023 / 2023 Christmas cookies

Uno dei regali che mi piace di più donare a Natale è un pacchetto di biscotti fatti da me. È una coccola dolce che piace a tutti, soprattutto ai bambini. Quest'anno ho battuto il mio record e ne ho preparati 350 in tre giorni!

One of my favorite Christmas giving is a nice, little bag of cookies. It's meant to be a cuddle reserved to everyone I love, especially children. This year I made the outstanding amount of 350 cookies in three days!

Ci sono gli immancabili omini di pan di zenzero speziati,

Here behold: classic gingerbread cookies with spices,

i biscotti di frolla con i medaglioni al cioccolato al latte e fondente,

Dancin' Red Santa

Ora che questo Babbo Natale ha raggiunto mio nipote e la sua famiglia, posso mostrare questo biglietto anche a voi.

Now that, finally, my nephew and his family received their Dancing' Santa, I can share the project with you all.

Il modello di questo biglietto interattivo è lo stesso che avete già visto in versione Babbo Natale in blu (in questo post trovate il tutorial).

The model of this interactive card is the same as the blue dancin' Santa you already saw in my blog (in this post you can find the tutorial).

Mi piace creare delle card che stupiscano i destinatari: gli oggetti regalati spesso fanno il loro tempo, vengono usati e consumati, ma una card fatta con il cuore resta per sempre.

I enjoy to make cards that surprise the recipients: gifts come and go - sometimes they even return home - but a card made with love is forever.

Tag di Natale dell'ultimo minuto / Last minute Christmas tags

Natale è praticamente arrivato e se siete in ritardissimo con i regali, come me, vi suggerisco dei chiudipacco super veloci da realizzare!

Christmas in already here and I am late with the presents, again! If your situation is not better, I like to share some last minute tags with you, it could help.

Scegliete come base una forma geometrica con un bordo decorato, così farà già scena da sola. Quindi fustellate l'abete e i pacchetti nei cartoncini colorati e conferite qualche colpo di luce usando il cartoncino dorato (qui l'ho preferito per i nastri dei pacchetti e per le decorazioni dell'abete).

Choose a geometric shape with decoration on the edge as a base, so half work is done. Then use dies to cut the tree and the parcels using different colors and a gold card stock to add some light.

Per un effetto più realistico potete usare della pasta neve sulle punte dell'abete.

To have a more realistic effect, add some snow paste on the tree.

Qualche enamel dot e un sentiment stampato in nero o in rosso andrà a completare il chiudipacco. Vi basterà aggiungere un foro e un nastro in cima, oppure un pezzetto di washi tape da attaccare sul dono da regalare.

Add some enamel dots and a sentiment, then you can make a hole on the top to hang the tag to the parcel, or you can use a piece of washi tape to attach it. That's it!

Non è Natale senza glitter! / No glitter, No Christmas!

La card che voglio mostrarvi oggi utilizza lo stesso set di timbri del post che avete già visto qui. Però con una tecnica completamente diversa. Per prima cosa ho stampato ed embossato con la polvere da rilievo dorata glitterata i soggetti, quindi li ho colorati utilizzando gli acquerelli liquidi Ink Extreme. Infine li ho ritagliati a mano libera e li ho incollati a rilievo su una base di cartoncino bianco.

The card I am showing you shares the same Happy Christmas Ornaments stamp set with this card. In this case, though, I applied a different technique. First, I stamped and embossed in glitter gold the ornaments. Then, I painted them with liquid watercolors and I cut them out by hand.

Da ultimo ho stampato ed embossato in oro la scritta "Happy Holidays" su una striscia di vellum e l'ho attaccata in basso, per riempire la card senza appesantire troppo la composizione.

I glued them onto the white card stock base leaving some room to a vellum strip with the sentiment embossed in gold.

Vi assicuro che le foto non danno il giusto merito al gioco di luce dei contorni di questi ornamenti.

I am aware you cannot appreciate the result in full by merely looking at these pictures. You just have to trust me and try them out.

Joy cards

Oggi vi mostro un paio di card velocissime, ma molto sceniche. Per prima cosa dovete stampare ed embossare in bianco i soggetti sul cartoncino bianco.

Today I like to share a couple of CAS cards, simple but with an impact. First, you have to stamp and emboss in white the subjects on the white card stock.

Poi passate a riempire liberamente lo sfondo con i Distress Oxide e infine attaccate le lettere della parola "joy" fustellate nel cartoncino dorato. Infine aggiungete qualche paillette, ed il gioco è fatto!

Then, you can fill the background by blending the Distress Oxide colors you prefer. At the and, add the word "joy" cut from the gold card stock, some sequins and... that's it! Easy peasy!

La tecnica di preparazione di questo modello è la medesima che avete già visto nel tutorial di Babbo Natale, in questo post.

Naturalmente questa card è perfetta anche per S.Valentino.

This card would be perfect as a Valentine, too.

Lanterna di Natale / Christmas Lantern

Non è Natale senza una luce soffusa sulla mensola del camino! E anche se il camino non ce l'avete, come me, potete utilizzare questa casa-lanterna su una mensola o come centrotavola.

It's not Christmas without a warm light on the fireplace shelf! Even if you don't have a fireplace, like me, you can put this house-lantern on a book shelf or in the middle of the dining table.

Per rendere di più l'atmostfera natalizia ho messo della pasta neve sulle finestre e sul greenery sopra la porta di ingresso.

To add a Christmas touch I put some snow paste on the windows and on the greenery under the front door.

Finalmente ho messo mano a questa fustella!! Non vedevo l'ora di usarla. Appena ho visto questo Babbo Natale in una delle dirette di Tim Holtz, è entrata subito nella mia top ten!

Finally I put my hands on this die!! I has been holding myself for too long. The moment I saw it in the Tim Holtz live, I knew it would be in my top ten list!

Pur essendo una della serie "Colorize" con diversi pezzi da assemblare (le mie preferite), devo ammettere che il procedimento è piuttosto veloce. Nel mio caso, poi, ho scelto di apportare qualche lieve modifica per rendere il tutto più divertente: vi ho indicato nelle foto qui sotto i passaggi, se volete replicarla.

Although it is a "Colorize" one with many pieces to assemble, I must admit the process doesn't take too much time. I decided to make some variations to add some fun: I took some pictures in the making of to show you what I did, if you want to replicate it.

Per prima cosa ho tagliato due volte il personaggio con la fustella di base nel cartoncino del colore prescelto (nel mio caso blu) e da una delle due ho ricavato la sola testa. In quella completa ho segnato le parti da eliminare: il cappello con le orecchie e un cerchio di circa 2 cm all'altezza del volto.

First, I cut twice the base of the body: from the first one I trace in white the part to cut out (the hat, the hears and a 3/4" circle in correspondence of the face). From the second one I cut out the body and I kept the head.

Qui vedete la prima fustellata dopo l'eliminazione delle parti segnate in bianco.

Here you can see the result after the cut out of the white dashed parts.

Con la stessa fustella ho tagliato nuovamente il corpo intero col secondo colore e ho eliminato le gambe, in modo da avere la giacca del cappotto; ho ripetuto la stessa operazione, così da farla corrispondere alla prima fustellata modificata (potete saltare un passaggio ed eliminare le parti segnate in bianco una volta attaccati insieme i due cartoncini). Quindi ho composto le parti della testa e ho incollato gli elementi dalla vita in giù.

With the same die, I cut another body with the second color and I cut out the legs: in this way I obtained the jacket of the coat. Then I repeat the cut out I did on the blue body to get the correspondence of the two pieces, and I glued them together. (You can skip one step by gluing together the two body card stocks and then cut out the white dashed parts). Then I glued the elements of the head and the legs.

Successivamente ho incollato la parte azzurra su quella blu e ho completato il Babbo Natale, dotandolo anche di candy cane e pacchetto (ricordatevi di usare due elementi dello stesso peso per non sbilanciare il corpo). Poi ho preparato la base della tag e, una volta asciutta, ho incollato nel centro un biadesivo poco più piccolo del foro nel corpo di Babbo Natale, in modo da avere gli stivali al di sopra del limite inferiore della tag.

To complete Santa's body, I added the belt, the candy cane, and the parcel (remember to add the same weight on both sides to maintain the balance), then I made the tag base.

After it dried, I glued in the center a foam adhesive circle smaller than the hole I made (before glue it, hang on it the Santa's body to be sure that the legs remain above the edge of the tag).

Da ultimo ho attaccato la testa sul cerchio di biadesivo, nella posizione corretta (NB: il corpo non va incollato, ma deve restare "appeso" al cerchio di biadesivo).

In the end, I glued the head onto the foam adhesive circle (do not glue it to the body! It has to be free to move, hanging on the foam adhesive circle).

A questo punto il gioco è fatto: il vostro Babbo Natale è pronto per oscillare a destra e sinistra!

La tag accompagnerà il regalo natalizio di mio marito e so già che la adorerà! ^_^

And that's it! Your Santa can swing on both side!

The tag will match the Christmas gift for my husband and I'm sure he will love it! ^_^
