Card o libro? / Is it a card or a book?

Ora che è arrivata a destinazione, posso mostrarvi questa card-contenitore realizzata per racchiudere un regalino natalizio. Il bello di questo modello è che da chiuso sembra un piccolo libro, quindi fa molta scena. In rete trovate diversi tutorial per replicarla: basta cercare "shadow box book card" e adattare le misure al contenuto che volete inserire all'interno.

Per realizzare la mia ho utilizzato tutti prodotti de Il Negozio Della Mamma di Cle, in calce al post trovate i link ai diversi materiali usati.

Now that I've given this Christmas present away, I can share this box-card I made to hide the small gift. The model is very nice, resembling a little book when closed. You can find some video tutorials on youtube with the tags "shadow box book card" and adapt the measures to the content.

Giocando con una ghianda / Playing with an acorn

Anche se siamo già con la testa al Natale, oggi per il mio post promozionale del negozio The Happy Place voglio proporvi una card in tema autunnale, adatta anche ai maschietti.

I know that we are focused on Christmas, but today I like to share a masculine Autumn card with the supplies from The Happy Place. 

Il protagonista è un tenero topino che calcia la ghianda e il meccanismo de La Coppia Creativa è perfetto per un effetto sorpresa!

Inside the card this sweet mouse is playing with his acorn : the inner die by La Coppia Creativa is perfect for the surprise effect!

La card chiusa è decorata con una carta patterned creata con i timbri dello stesso set e dal set Enchanted Forest, stampati con un tampone marrone.

The outside of the card is decorated with a patterned paper I made by stamping the elements of the same stamp set anche Enchanted Forest set with a brown ink pad.

Al momento alcuni prodotti sono terminati sul sito del negozio, ma basta che scriviate ad Alessia per ordinarli dal suo The Happy Place :)

To prove you that this boreal background suits for many characters, I made a version with the snowman.

Dato che in tanti mi avete chiesto come realizzare l'effetto dell'aurora boreale della card con cui ho partecipato al contest di MFT (quella del post precedente, per intenderci), ho pensato di preparare un corso di colorazione a tema. Spero vi faccia piacere!

After my participation to the MFT contest with the northern lights card (you can see it on the previous post), I decided to prepare an online coloring class with the same theme. I know you will like it! The online class will be live on Saturday 3th of December on a FB private group and the recording will be available for a month. Aurora boreale / Northern lights

Anche se non si vede, ogni semplice card racchiude ore e ore di pratica e tentativi falliti, entusiasmo e frustrazione. Non vi nascondo che è da un po' di tempo che sto cercando di riprodurre l'aurora boreale come sfondo per le card natalizie. Oggi sono felice di condividere con voi il risultato cui sono arrivata. Spero vi piaccia!

Con questa card partecipo al contest di MFT Card Design Superstar nella categoria "Coloring virtuoso" per il 2022.

Even if you can see it, every simple card carries hours and hours of practice and failures with it, both enthusiasm and frustration. I can tell you that I have been trying to reproduce the northern lights onto a Christmas card background for a very long time, and today, finally, I'm happy to share with you my best result. Hope you like it too!

La colorazione no line su carta craft mi piace sempre moltissimo, trovo che abbia un che di poetico. E il set di timbri che ho scelto è così dolce si sposa perfettamente con la colorazione a matita.

Un autunno mite / A warm Fall

Quest'autunno mite ci ha regalato un ottobre gradevolissimo per le attività all'aperto, anche in montagna, a Bormio (Valtellina).

Such a warm Fall like this is perfect for outside activities, they're cozy even on the mountains, in Bormio (Valtellina).

Persino il Giardino Botanico di Bormio ha organizzato un'apertura speciale con laboratori, attività per bambini e visite guidate. Bellissimo vedere tanta partecipazione!

Bormio Botanical Garden had an extraordinary opening with workshops, family activities and tours. Seeing so many people attending, simply warmed my heart!

In occasione del nostro recente anniversario di nozze, ho preparato questa card sulla scia dell'entusiasmo per il modello dinamico con il topino che avete visto in questo post.

To celebrate our wedding anniversary, I made this card using the same model of the sleeping mouse you already saw in this post.

Fortunatamente il risultato è piaciuto a mio marito, che è un amante di tutto ciò che riguarda lo spazio e e i viaggi extraterrestri.

Lucky me, my hubby loved it! He is a space-life/extraterrestrial-things man.

In questa gif potete vedere il movimento dell'astronauta che si muove tra le stelle, mentre nel video sottostante invece si vede l'interazione della card dal vivo.
