Ed eccoci qui con un nuovo appuntamento fieristico. Lo so che alcuni di voi sono curiosi di vedere cosa ha proposto questa edizione primaverile di Abilmente... Preparatevi, perché ci sono un sacco di foto che ho scattato proprio per voi! ^_^
Per chi non la conoscesse, la fiera di Vicenza è la più importante tra quelle italiane (ma non solo) dedicate alla manualità creativa. L'edizione autunnale è senza dubbio la più ricca, ma anche in primavera gli spunti creativi e le opere d'arte non mancano.
I am back with a new fair appointment. I know that some of you are curious to see this spring edition of Abilmente... Get ready, because I took a looooot of pictures just for you! ^_^
If you don't know it, Vicenza is one of the most important handmade crafting fair in Italy (and not only). The spring edition is not the richest of the year, but you can also find lots of suggestions and masterpieces.
Partiamo con il patchwork. Quella che segue è una carrellata di lavori realizzati per la mostra "Imagine" a cura di
Patchwork Europe. Se siete esperti del settore, sono certa che non rimarrete delusi da questi capolavori, e se invece, come me, non capite un'acca di quilting e patchwork, potete godervi lo spettacolo di colori e fantasia di questi bellissimi lavori.
Let's start with patchwork. I took this pictures from the "Image" show (organized by Patchwork Europe). If you like this art, the pictures will not disappoint you, and if you don't know a lot about quilting and patchwork, like I do, maybe you can appreciate the colours and the fantasy of these beautiful work.
Il pannello qui sopra a destra è uno di quelli che mi ha colpito maggiormente: si intitola "All the people" (Tutte le persone) ed è opera della svizzera Maria Stoller.
The piece above on the right caught my attention: it is a Maria Stoller opera entitled "All the people".
Qui sopra e sotto potete vedere da vicino alcuni dei volti ricamati.

Il pannello qui in alto a sinistra è quello che mi è piaciuto più di tutti. All'inizio non vi ho prestato molta attenzione, forse per i colori un po' scuri. Ma poi avvicinandomi mi sono persa in tutti i particolari... Voglio condividerli con voi: trovate qui di seguito le foto ravvicinate di quest'opera dell'inglese Helen Dickson dal titolo "In the library at Night" (In biblioteca di notte).
I loved the piece above on the left most of all. It hasn't got my attention at the beginning, because of the dark tones; but when I came closer the details conquered me... Wanting to share my passion with you I took some pictures. The author is the english Helen Dickson, the title is "In the library at Night".
