Porte Aperte in Stamperia 2013 / 2013 Stamperia Open Day

Anche quest'anno la giornata di corsi in Stamperia è stata davvero entusiasmante! Questo il risultato  che ho portato a casa (qui quello dello scorso anno).

I enjoyed the 2013 Stamperia Open Day as I do it every year!  And here are the results of my workshop day (here you can see the 2012 one).

Il programma della giornata si è presentato fittissimo, come previsto.
The day program was very intense, as expected. 

Il corso di effetto ruggine con transfer su dècoupage è stato senza dubbio il più divertente e interessante per l'uso di diversi materiali (ho scoperto che spatolare il colore mi piace un sacco!), anche se devo confessare che il risultato è finito chiuso in un cassetto.
The first lesson (rusty effects on dècoupage with transfer gel) was the funniest and the most interesting, thanks to the different materials we used (I realised that I like very much the spatula!), but I must confess that my masterpiece lies now in a drawer).

Bellissime le paste glitter ed effetto cemento che abiamo utilizzato in abbinamento alle patine metallizzate.

Per il secondo corso, potevo forse modellare con la Pasta Oplà una spilla a forma di farfalla? Decisamente no! 

Un teschietto mi è parso decisamente più à la page : )

In the second workshop, they asked me to model a butterfly pin using the Oplà paste... the idea didn't suit me...

A skull is much more trendy : )

Col feltro non vado molto d'accordo, ma devo ammettere che il corso sulla shopper bag con applicazioni in Feltro Decor è stato il più soddisfacente, e la borsa è già stata ampiamente collaudata.
I didn't like very much working felt, but I must reckon that this lesson was the most satisfying to me; and I've already put the shopping bag at use.

Da ultimo il corso di cake design con la creazione di un cake pop a forma di orsetto. Mi domando ancora come sia arrivato a casa integro... di sicuro il lavoro più apprezzato dai miei piccoli!
At last, we created a bear cake pop. I don't know how I managed to take it home safe and sound... but this was the project my children appreciated the most for sure!

Una sera di primavera / A spring evening

  

Card elegante per la festa della mamma / Elegant Mother's day card

Se il biglietto con la gallina e il pulcino per voi è un po' troppo minimal, e se vi piacciono fronzoli, fiori e perle, allora questa card potrebbe fare al caso vostro.

Anche in questo caso ho usato le matite colorate: ormai ci ho preso gusto, dopo aver visto all'opera lo Shakerato Alberto!

If the chicken card seemed too minimal to you, and you like embellishments, flowers and beads, this card is what you need for mother's day.

In this case too I used the coloured pencils: I'm addicted to them since Shakerato Alberto's show!

 

Anche questo timbro fa parte della nuova collezione pasquale di Impronte d'Autore, ma mi è parso troppo bello per ridurne l'utilizzo solo una volta l'anno, non trovate?

This stamp comes from the Impronte d'Autore Easter new collection too; but it does worth more than a chance to show off in a year, don't you think?

E così ho 'camuffato' le uova nel cestino con dei fiorellini presi in prestito da un altro timbro, ritagliati, ed incollati in un profumato bouquet.

So I disguised the eggs in the basket by some little flowers from another stamp: I cut and glued them in a fragrant bouquet.

Le roselline di carta sono rigorosamente fatte a mano. Lavoro certosino, ma che dà soddisfazione, ve l'assicuro.

Paper roses are made by hand: it may require a lot of patience but it is really satisfaying.

Card campagnola per la festa della mamma / Mother's day country card

Quando ho visto questo timbro della nuova serie pasquale di Impronte d'Autore ho pensato immediatamente alla festa della mamma.

Il biglietto di base è in cartoncino Flora malto rustico, una tra le mie preferite.

When I saw this stamp from the new Impronte d'Autore Easter collection, I immediately thought of a mother's day card.

The base card is one of my favourite cardstock: Flora malto rustico.

La gallina col pulcino è stampata direttamente sul biglietto Flora con il tampone Versafine nero, poi ho colorato la stampa con le matite. I particolari del nido e del pulcino sono stampati e ritagliati dal cartoncino giallo a pois bianchi (lo stesso della fascia decorativa a sinistra del biglietto), mentre le uova sono stampate e ritagliate da un cartoncino maculato di una vecchia collezione, perfetto per questo progetto.

Tocco finale la stampa del fumetto usando un timbro fatto da me, come questo.

I printed the stamp directly on the Flora card with Versafine black pad, then I coloured it with pencils. I printed the nest and the chick on the yellow dotted cardstock I used for the left side of the card, and I cut and glued them on the Flora card. For the eggs I used a maculate cardstock from an old collection, perfect for this project.

The last touch was the balloon that I printed with a rubber stamp made by me, like this one.

Porta cellulare all'uncinetto / Cell phone crocheted cover: tutorial

Ricordate la divagazione di qualche tempo fa?
Ebbene, ogni tanto capita anche a me di completare qualche lavoro. In genere inaspettatamente...

Do you remember the distraction I experienced some time ago?

Well, it happens that even I can finish a projet.

Ecco dove sono finiti i miei esagoni floreali (qui il tutorial di Heidi): in un porta cellulare!
Here you can see my crocheted floral hexagons (Heidi's tutorial here): in a cell phone cover!

Per realizzarlo vi occorrono 12 moduli esagonali di 2,4 cm per lato (il mio smartphone misura 11,5 x 6 cm circa). Dovete cucirli assieme come indicato nello schema qui sopra (i tratteggi indicano come vanno piegati i moduli per formare la tasca rettangolare).
You need 12 hexagon modules by 2,4 cm side (my smartphone misures 11,5 x 6 cm) to make the cover. 
You must sew them as shown in the pattern above, and fold the dotten lines in order to obtain the cell pocket.

Per unirli io ho usato un filo di cotone verde, in contrasto con i colori sgargianti dei fiori.

I used a green thread to join them, creating a nice constrast with the coloured flowers.

Questo è lo schema del modello chiuso seguendo le pieghe tratteggiate.

This is the pattern folded along the dotted lines.

E qui lo vedete sul portacellulare cucito; all'estremità del modulo n.1 (che funge da patelletta di chiusura) ho applicato un bottone e una piccola linguetta lavorata a punto basso, con un'asola.

And this is the cell cover sewed following the pattern; I added a button and a little crocheted tongue with a buttonhole at the edge of  module #1 (this is a flap model).

E questo è il retro del porta cellulare.

And this is the back side of the cell cover.

Non sarà a prova di caduta, ma come antigraffio è decisamente sciccoso, non trovate? ^___^ 

It won't be shock resistant, I guess, but it is a cute scratch proof cover, don't you think? ^___^
