These last-minute earrings and pendants are made by synthetic paste.

Questi sono stati realizzati con la To Do Clay, una pasta che non avevo mai usato e che non mi ha soddisfatta completamente. E' ottima come risultato finale dopo la cottura (gli oggetti sono molto resistenti), ma durissima da lavorare, anche dopo parecchia manipolazione.

This ones are made by To Do Clay, a paste I had never used before and that did'nt caught me completely. It gives you a good result after the backing (objects are really tough), but it is so hard to work with, even after intense manipulation.

Partendo da un cerchio di pasta sottile bianca perlata, potete modellare il fantasmino appongando il disco di pasta sulla punta di un dito e arricciando il bordo per creare le pieghe. Tocco finale le perline di vetro, che potete inserire direttamente sulla pasta prima della cottura in forno.

Ricordatevi di praticare un forellino in cima per far passare il filo di metallo con cui creare l'asola per poterli appendere.

To obtain a little ghost, you have to start from a circle of paste and put it on the top of a finger, then curl the edge. I used a couple of glass beads to make the eyes: you can put them directly on the paste before the backing.

Remember to make a hole for the passing wire!

Un teschietto e un paio d'ossa incrociate diventeranno orecchini o ciondoli à la page.
Anche in questo caso un paio di perline (piatte e satinate) saranno orbite perfette.

A skull and a pair of crossing bones will be earrings or pendants à la page.

In this case I used a couple of glass beads (flat and glazed) for the eye-sockets.

If you're in the mood of something less aggressive, a couple of marshmallows (really well made by my assistant Alice) will suit you perfectly...
